How do your addtional incentives work?
Q. How do I contact my assigned agent?
A. They will contact you, usually within 3 businees days of your application being sent.

Q. How much will I get back?
A. That depends on the referral fee collected. Please see the sign-in screen, and the approximate value of your HomeIncentive will appear before you submit your application.

Q. How does this work?
A. Your information is provided to a local real estate agent by one of HomeIncentive's affiliated real estate brokers. Our affiliated broker will earn a fee from the local agent only when the tranaction closes. These funds are used to provide your HomeIncentive.

Q. What if I choose not to work with the agent assigned to me?
A. Just send us an email at feedback@homeincnetive.com and we will request a new agent be assigned to you. However, please remember that if you have signed a buyers agency agreement or a listing contract, we may not be able to change your agent.

Q. How will I get my incentive?
A. Simply fax a copy of your HUD Closing Statement to HomeIncentive.com at 866-362-3646. Your HomeIncentive will arrive within 4-6 weeks. If you have chosen to apply your incentive to closing costs, please inform HomeIncentive at admin@homeincentive.com at least 14 days prior to the scheduled closing.

Q. Do I owe anything if I change my mind or can't find a house?
A. No. You are never obligated to pay a fee to us. The referring brokers that work with HomeIncentive receive money only when a transaction has closed escrow. You receive your incentive after the brokers receive their referral fee. Your incentive will be paid to you by the broker that has received the referral fee.

Q. Can anyone use this service?
A. Yes, as long as you are not currently working with an agent. If you are currenty working with an agent under a buyers agency agreement, or if you have a home listed, we will not be able to provide services to you at this time. Please feel free to contact us in the future for other transactions, or if you end your working relationship with your current agent.

Q. Is HomeIncentive a real estate broker?
A. No. HomeIncentive provides no real estate services. We forward all information provided to an affiliated broker who handles all of the referral process and collects any referral fees generated.

Q. Can I use this anywhere?
A. Under certain conditions, yes. The program is allowed in the following states. AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HA, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MT, NE, NV, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI, WY. The incentive in the following states can be in the form of a commission credit only. AL,NH,OR,SD,TN. The following states do not allow an incentive to be paid. AK, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, NJ, OK, RI, WV. However, if you live in one of these states, it may be possible to receive a discount on the selling price, offset by an equal discount in the commission paid by the seller.

Q. Can I choose the agent I work with?
A. At this time we are not able to allow you to choose either the agent or broker that will be contacting you. If you do not feel the agent is right for your needs, simply contact us at feedback@homeincentive.com and we will immediatly attempt to find an agent who better suits your needs. You are never under an obligation to use the agents referred by HomeIncentive, however you must use an agent referred by us in order to receive your HomeIncentive.

Q. What kind of agents do you use?
A. Because all real estate is local, we try to use agents familer with your local area. All agents are licensed, and most are members of the National Association of Realtors. Our goal is to provide you with unmatched customer service, and save you money.

Q. Won't I save even more money if I sell my home myself?
A. This is a common misconception. In most areas of the country, For Sale By Owner (FSBO) listings very often end up with the buyers using an agent. This "Buyers Agent" will be paid for their work, usually by the seller. The seller ends up paying a commission, and very often ends up with a net that is less than what they would have received had they used an agent. Another factor is that FSBO's don't tend to sell as quickly, and you don't have the expertise of a professional agent to help guide you in the transaction. When you look at the entire process, we feel the benefits of using a professional agent in the transaction far outweigh the costs and the legal risks involved.

Q. How do your addtional incentives work?
A. HomeIncentive may make addtional incentives available to our customers. Shortly after you receive your confirmation email, you will also receive an email with any addtional services or incentives that may be available in your area. All offers may be subject to specific terms and conditions, which will be included in your email.
